What "fake ruban de cartier" means
The phrase mixes French and English. "Ruban" is French for ribbon. "Fake ruban de cartier" is a search term for replica versions of Cartier jewelry and watches that use a ribbon shape. Cartier makes 18k gold bracelets with a flat, twisted band that wraps the wrist. Replica sellers copy the shape and stamp the Cartier name on metal that is not gold.
No replica is a Cartier product. Cartier does not license the Ruban name to third parties.
