Why this guide is not something I can write

A buying guide for a counterfeit version of an IWC reference such as IW329173 is purchase advice for infringing goods. Service parts are generally unavailable, which means a failed movement becomes a paperweight rather than a repair. Water resistance is claimed on a spec sheet and rarely tested, so swimming is a gamble. There is no manufacturer warranty, no authorized service, and essentially no resale market. Customs officials can seize the shipment, and the money is gone either way.
